Living Life in the Spirit ("the App", "us", "we", or "our") is a Bible verse memorization application available on Android, iOS, and the web. When you create an account, we collect:

- Verse memorization progress — scores and learning history for each verse
- Liked and ignored verses — your favorited and skipped verses
- Friends list — friend connections and display name
- App settings — your preferred Bible translation and active verse count
Authentication Data
We offer sign-in through Google and Apple. When you authenticate through these providers, we receive your email address and a unique identifier. We do not receive or store your password for these services.
Usage Data
We may collect information about how the App is accessed and used, including your device type, operating system, and diagnostic data.
How We Use Your Data
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the App
- To track your verse memorization progress
- To enable social features (friends, comparisons)
- To remember your preferences and settings

Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

These third parties have access to your personal data only to perform services on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Data Storage and Transfer
Your data is stored on Supabase's servers, which may be located outside your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in accordance with this policy.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the App. When you delete your account, all of your data is permanently removed, including:
- Your verse memorization progress
- Liked and ignored verses
- Friends list and display name
- App settings
This action cannot be undone.
Data Security
The security of your data is important to us. We use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Links to Other Sites
The App may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
Children's Privacy
The App is designed to be suitable for users of all ages. However, we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. Children under 13 should use the App only under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided us with personal data without your consent, please contact us and we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the effective date at the top.
